Bushwalking or jogging
Enjoy small walks on the property or around the Lake, or take a stroll or a jog in almost any direction as far as you would like to go. If you're into bushwalking take in one of the many bush trails on Mount Canobolas - inhale the many different fresh smells, sights and incredible views around this extinct volcano - then enjoy a coffee and some food at the Mountain Tea House. The Pinnacle is another short – although steep walk. Also, the Borenore Caves provide another place for interesting walks and places to picnic.

Cycling or Mountain Biking
Bring your bike and cycle into town or you may choose to do your ride and come back to The LakeShore Cafe at Lake Canobolas and enjoy a coffee whilst watching the birds on the water. The Visitor Information Centre now has a Cycle Orange Guide where all the best cycle trails are listed. The Orange Mountain Bike Club has a track opposite the main entrance into the lake.

Try one of the 3 excellent golf courses in our town - Duntryleague, Wentworth & Ex-Services Country Club - or play a different one each day. There's nothing like hitting that ‘sweet-spot’ when playing golf. Try playing in the warm midday sun or the early frosty mornings, or join one of the regular competitions.
